Riverview Baptist Church is a unique body of believers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person that can possibly be reached, especially to those in our area of influence, in the hope that they too may repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

The mission of Riverview Baptist Church is to: worship, proclaim and witness, nurture and educate, minister, and fellowship.
OUR COMMUNITY
Feel free to join us on Sunday mornings as we sit under the exposition of God's Word, celebrate the redemption found only in Christ, and meet a group of people who have been changed by the power of the Gospel.
Riverview Baptist Church

As the body of Christ, our mission is to:
-worship: to experience an awareness of God, a recognition of His holiness and majesty, and to respond in loving obedience to His leadership.
-proclaim and witness: to declare the good news of what God has done in and through Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind.
-nurture and educate: to lead those entrusted to us to grow in understanding, to form new attitudes, and to develop actions consistent with the example of Christ.
-minister: to respond lovingly to people's needs in Jesus' name, especially, but not limited to, those in our area of influence.
-fellowship: to provide regular opportunities for those in our area of influence to come together to build and strengthen relationships, expressing and experiencing Christian love.
Meet the Pastor
John has served as Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church since November 2019. He is married to Samantha (father to Thomas Baker) and they seek to follow God’s will as they minister to the community of Riverview. John has received a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from the College at Southeastern. He is currently pursuing a PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, focusing on the area of Biblical Theology.
Ministry Goal: to shepherd the flock of God in such a way that honors God, builds up believers, and brings many to faith in Christ.
